Screenprint on metallic Duralar. Published by The Song Cave in 2015 in a limited edition of 50 signed & numbered copies
For her edition with art book publisher The Song Cave, Tauba Auerbach renders a close-up image of a woven metal fabric using a custom “metallic” digital filter, which is then screen printed on a thin and reflective Duralar film. The staunch metal texture of the imagery contrasts with the incredible delicacy of the material, creating a fragile and ethereal quality.
